Shivansh School of Arts was founded in 2017 by Maithri Rao as a Bharatanatyam school. Over time, it has evolved into a learning centre that supports various disciplines related to dance. Shivansh now offers Bharatanatyam, Carnatic Music, Kalaripayattu, and Yoga. Shivansh has branches across Hyderabad: Suncity, Banjara Hills and Kondapur. In the last seven years, the brand has rapidly expanded and now has over 100 students.​

Shivansh's teaching approach focuses on engagement and joy, inspiring students to continue their artistic journey. Shivansh combines traditional teaching with contemporary thought, emphasizing body and space awareness, interactive activities, mythology, history, and creative thinking. The aim is to foster a lifelong appreciation of the arts among the newer generations, with a strong emphasis on sustaining dance over time.
