ABOUT TEAM SHIVANSH
Team Shivansh is the performance wing of the Shivansh School of Arts. They are a group of professional dancers finding expression through Bharatanatyam. Their performances are characterised by unique and off-beat themes, colourful visuals and a blend of tradition with contemporary artistry.

Recognizing the challenges of pursuing dance as a career, Maithri set out to create a stable and sustainable ecosystem for classical dancers. Through Team Shivansh, the institute provides members with opportunities to train, explore, perform, earn, teach, and experiment through dance.
The initiative began with auditions for dancers within and outside the institute, bringing together individuals who share a vision and passion for dance.

HEAD OF EVENTS
Swetha Pratap
Swetha Pratap is a trained Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi dancer with over 18+ years of experience. An engineer and management graduate by profession, she has performed in over 100 programs across prestigious stages in India. After a fulfilling corporate career as a financial professional, Swetha has rekindled her deep passion for dance. At Shivansh, she brings her multifaceted expertise to the fore — leading our marketing efforts, nurturing a professional work culture, and conducting classes at our Suncity Studio

Pragya Venkat Rao
Pragya Venkat Rao is a Bharatanatyam dancer with over 14+ years of training. She began her journey under Smt. Neerja at Shankarananda Kalakshetra, where she trained for five years, and later under Smt. Maithri Rao. With over 40 performances across India, she brings dedication, sincerity, and a deep love for the art to every stage she graces.
Alongside her artistic journey, Pragya works as a Project Engineer in the renewable energy sector. At Shivansh, she heads Social Media and Communications, leading its digital presence and content initiatives while creatively showcasing its classes, events, performances, and artistic journey to a wider audience.

R Sanjana
Sanjana is a Hyderabad-based Architect and Bharatanatyam practitioner, trained under eminent gurus Smt. Lalitha Padmini and Smt. Maithri Rao.A diploma holder in Bharatanatyam, she has performed at prestigious festivals across the country and is a recipient of several state-level accolades.She holds 15+ years of experience. She has been part of productions including Journey of Rhythms and Leela Tandavam, contributing to large-scale dance and theatre productions. At Shivansh, she teaches at our Banjara Hills studio, nurturing and inspiring the next generation of dancers.
HEAD OF OUTREACH
Swathi Rupali
Swathi Rupali is a Bharatanatyam dancer with over 18+ years of training. She began her journey under Guru Smt. Savitri Vijayakumar in Bangalore and continues her practice with Team Shivansh. She has performed at renowned temples and festivals across India, including Mysore Dasara, Srirangam and Chidambaram.
An engineer by profession and a dancer at heart, she balances her career with her lifelong passion for dance. As a teacher at Shivansh, she hopes to share the joy and discipline of the art form. She also leads the Outreach Team, building connections with festivals, cultural institutions, artists and curators to take Team Shivansh's work to new stages and audiences.

Vaibhavi Pabba
Ananya Vaibhavi Pabba is a Bharatanatyam practitioner and Software Engineer at Microsoft.
She began her Bharatanatyam training in 2016 under Nenita Praveen at Meenakshi Studio for Arts in the Pandanallur style and has been training under Maithri Rao at Shivansh School of Arts since 2024. She has been part of productions including Leela Tandavam, Journey of Rhythms, Motherhood, and Jashn-e Hyderabad, along with various temple and stage performances. She completed her Bharatanatyam Arangetram in 2026.
Alongside her artistic practice, Vaibhavi teaches at the Kondapur branch of Shivansh, sharing her knowledge and contributing to the growth of young dancers.

Ananya Nimmala
Ananya Nimmala, currently in Grade 12 at Sloka School, began her Bharatanatyam journey at the age of six under Smt. Kiranmayee Madupu and later continued under Smt. Maithri Rao. She has been part of productions including Leela Tandavam, Jashn-e-Hyderabad, Dances of India, Naadaneerajanam, and Journey of Rhythms.
An all-rounder passionate about dance and archery, she has won gold at the CBSE South Zone and silver at the CBSE National level. Alongside her own practice, she also teaches Bharatanatyam at the Suncity branch of Shivansh.
